Crisis Management Seminar, Manila
ECM is pleased to announce that once again, we will participate in the annual CRISIS MANAGEMENT SEMINAR (CMS) in Manila. The location for the 2015 seminar will be at the NEW WORLD MANILA BAY HOTEL (the former Hyatt Hotel & Casino) from Tuesday, June 2nd until midday on Thursday, June 4th, 2015.
The purpose of the CMS is to broaden a vessel officer’s scope of knowledge on the total aspects of a crisis which has it origin onboard. This is done through a planned scenario and role play and includes internal and external communications, observations of the various chain reactions—as a result of decisions taken, media handling, loss prevention after a crisis, handling information flow, post-traumatic stress handling and evaluating preventive measures.
In addition to ECM, Gard AS, the University of Bergen and Klaveness Ship Management will all be providing presentations and conducting role-playing exercises.
Attendance to the CMS has been extended to include ECM clients as participants or observers. The cost of attendance is USD $500 per participant or USD $300 per observer. However, if any of ECM’s clients are interested in attending, it is strongly recommended that they act quickly. The CMS usually limits participants to 50 or 60 vessel officers. Unfortunately, last year a number of our clients who were interested were not able to attend due to late registration.
A copy of the 2015 CMS agenda is attached herein. Please contact ECM Europe as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have interest in attending this informative seminar.
